Overview
Storekeeper and Hospitality Assistant (Ref: CC7435) – Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group. Pro rata £25,582 - £25,683 per annum (i.e. £11,118 - £11,162). 18.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
* Support the team with the smooth running of the catering facilities.
* Assist with teaching and learning to students by organising the availability of food and beverages for use during classes.
* Maintain a high standard of safety and assist in ensuring that food, hygiene and safety regulations are adhered to.
* Work to ensure stock is available and well managed, with appropriate stock control.
* Be passionate about the industry and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of food safety.
* Some elements of the role involve manual handling and are physically demanding.
Qualifications
* Relevant commercial experience in catering or storekeeping.
* Level 2 or above in Food Safety (or equivalent).
Working Environment
Our student training restaurants are open to the public, including Café 19 offering breakfasts, homemade soup, freshly baked cakes and pastries, and the fully licensed 64 Restaurant and Bar with a seasonal menu.
