Position Summary:
As a Rhapsody Integration Architect you will be responsible for providing vision, leadership, integration architecture guidance and design expertise to facilitate the definition, architecture and design of technical integration solutions and deliverables from pre-sales to project engagement and delivery.
The role sits within the Professional Services Group. The goal of Professional Services is to provide consulting, implementation and project management services to customers that enable the successful implementation of Rhapsody products as a significant part of business solutions with a focus on Healthcare organisations.
This role will primarily be working with Rhapsody’s integration Engine, but work with other Rhapsody products (Identity, Semantic) are in scope of this role.
Essential Functions
* An Integration Architect reviews, presents and assures integration architecture deliverables at both the infrastructure and the application integration level.
* Presentation and communication of technical solutions to clients and implementation teams will be part of day to day operations including frequent liaison with other third-party vendors to establish and maintain key relationships.
* Ensure effective solutions for clients are implemented, the role will include overseeing the implementation and configuration of Rhapsody products during a project’s lifecycle.
* Hands on interface/integration delivery capability would be expected in the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide architecture leadership, consultancy, expertise and guidance to customers and projects in respect to integration solutions in healthcare that promotes excellence, consistency, and quality in solution design.
* Develop and contribute to the definition, documentation, and implementation of Solution Architecture deliverables.
* Lead and contribute to the output and quality review of architecture artefacts throughout all project phases.
* Facilitate technical forums such as workshops and meetings through various media and face to face channels to ensure understanding of the solution by the client.
* Support project delivery by providing technical assurance, architecture advice and problem solving to resolve architecture or design issues arising during the project lifecycle and contribute to the estimation process to build effective project schedules and budgets.
* Lead and contribute to the output and quality review of architecture artefacts throughout all project phases.
* Ensure customers and projects are well informed of technical discussions and decisions that result in a common understanding.
Required Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree.
* 10+ years of technical experience comprised of a mix of HealthCare applications implementation plus development and/or technical support experience.
* 5+ years of this experience will be in a customer-facing roles operating at technical and business levels.
* 5+ years’ experience with delivery of solutions in the HealthCare industry. Experience in on-site implementation, integration, and experience in the application of structured implementation methodologies.
* Experience in the preparation of technical architecture and specification documentation.
* Technical experience: HL7, FHIR, and web technologies such as HTTP(S), HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Web Services and XML.
* Java based application servers and experience with system integrations including web-based user interface integration.
* RDBMS databases, multi-tier web-based architectures and technology.
* Browser- and non-browser-based diagnosis tools.
