Qualifications and Requirements
* Age 22 years or older (to meet Ofsted regulations).
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people.
* Valid manual driving licence.
Responsibilities
* Teach children to build self‑esteem and accept themselves, supporting their journey into adulthood.
* Use life‑skills to build positive relationships, meet their needs and safeguard them.
* Engage with a variety of children and young people, some requiring high levels of supervision and support.
* Lead shifts, supervise staff, manage policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas, ensuring placement plans are followed and education supported.
* Guarantee the welfare and care of each child and provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
