I am looking for a Site Engineer for what could potentially be 3 years of work close to Birmingham city centre. The opportunity is with a contractor on a a rail (Civil Engineering) project and they are looking after the rail structures, drainage and site infrastructure works. Candidates with a stable track record and experience of specialist subcontracting in a similar environment are preferred. You will need to be keen. motivated and ambitious- opportunities for long-term growth are genuine and my client is very keen to promote from within the business. A Civil Engineering degree is desirable but not essential- relevant experience and the right attitude are key. I am particularly keen to speak with candidates who have worked with contractors in reinforced concrete structures/frames and groundworks-particularly on large infrastructure schemes- HS2/Midland Metro as examples. The current requirement is leaning towards Engineers with drainage/deep drainage experience.
