1. Advise on and negotiate construction and services contracts, helping mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
2. Guide teams throughernance and approval processes.
3. Deliver legal training and support policy development.
4. Build strong relationships across the business, providing timely, practical legal advice.
5. Handle a variety of issues—from contract terminations to payment disputes—working closely with finance,mercial, and operations leaders.
6. Maintain a robust precedent bank for quick, efficient document preparation.
7. Manage external legal advisers to ensure advice is clear, constructive, andmercially focused.
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
8. Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent with English law knowledge).
9. Experience in projects/construction law and standard contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
10. Strongmunication, influencing skills, and ability to give concise advice.
11. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Desirable:
13. In-house legal experience.
14. Dispute resolution knowledge.
15. Familiarity with AI tools for productivity.
