About the Role
We're on the lookout for a
driven, tech-savvy IT Support Specialist (Tier 2)
who's passionate about solving problems, elevating user experiences, and delivering stellar support to our internal teams across the UK and beyond. This role calls for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to represent IT in front of
executives and VIP users
, all while managing complex troubleshooting across both
Mac and PC environments
.
You'll collaborate with a global team, travel between our
UK offices (Weybridge, Chilworth, Maidenhead, Farnborough)
, and play a vital role in keeping Synamedia connected.
What You'll Do
* Provide
Tier-2 IT support
—remote and deskside—for global employees, VIPs, and executives.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to
hardware, software, network, printers, conferencing tools
, and more.
* Manage tickets via chat, email, and phone with precision and empathy.
* Collaborate with other teams to resolve cross-functional issues and ensure seamless service.
* Create and maintain
clear documentation
and solutions for recurring technical challenges.
* Handle
shipping logistics
for remote users.
* Travel regularly across UK sites to provide onsite support and maintain service quality.
What You Bring
* 4+ years
in a helpdesk or deskside support role.
* Outstanding
customer service and communication skills
, especially when working with senior leadership.
* Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for both
Mac and Windows environments
.
* Experience with:
* Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory
* PC/Mac hardware & software support
* Basic networking and telephony setups
* Documentation skills (a plus).
* Exposure to
Microsoft Azure
or
AWS
(preferred).
* A
Bachelor's Degree
is a plus, but not mandatory.
