You will be responsible for
Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movements of approximately 30 vehicles across Inverness and Glasgow.
Acting as the main point of contact for customers, with a particular focus on retail partners, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
Tracking consignments from collection through to delivery, resolving any issues quickly to maintain service standards.
Working closely with the Compliance Team to support vehicle maintenance, driver hours monitoring, and fleet availability.
Identifying and highlighting commercial opportunities to senior management while providing flexible operational support, including holiday cover.

With experience in dry and cold chain markets, you bring strong industry knowledge and the confidence to manage complex operations. You’ll have advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities that allow you to liaise effectively with drivers, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail. A Transport Manager CPC qualification is preferred, though not essential.
