CPL Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent full-time basis. Salary will be £40,000 - £48,000 along with bonus. The role will be service the Armagh, Portadown, Newry, Craigavon areas with further expansion throughout Northern Ireland. Please be aware this role does not use a hybrid model at present, and you will be expected to be on-site at our clients base in the ROI once a week. Our client: Over 75 years in the fresh food sector providing a range of high-quality products to grocery stores, supermarkets and shops in Ireland. Employ over 100 members of staff with further plans for expansion across the island of Ireland. The role: With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Business Development Manager will: Have responsibility for expanding our clients market presence and sales growth along the Armagh, Portadown, Newry, Craigavon with a further view to growing this out across Northern Ireland. Play a pivotal role as the Business Development Manager in shaping business development strategies, driving revenue growth relentlessly, and propelling our client to new heights in Northern Ireland. The person: Minimum 5 years of Sales/Business Development experience in the fresh food sector, with a passion for the baked goods industry in particular. Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is highly desirable. Demonstrable experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written with an innate ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers. A strategic thinker, problem solver, results orientated and IT proficient. A proven negotiator and influencer who can present value proposition effectively.
