AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 05:00 – 17:00, 06:00 – 16:00 and 12:00 – 22:00
REPORTS TO: Supervisor and Zonal Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the Supervisor in ensuring all housekeeping and cleaning tasks are completed to the expected high standards.
* Assist with delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to operatives.
* Encourage and motivate operatives during shifts, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
* Ensure operatives follow the break schedules and working patterns set by the Supervisor.
* Monitor operatives’ attendance and performance, escalating concerns or recognition opportunities (including OFA nominations) to the Supervisor.
* Act as first point of contact for operatives with questions or concerns, directing them to the appropriate support (e.g., payroll, welfare).
* Step up to cover the Supervisor role when required, ensuring continuity of operations.
* Lead by example in behaviour, presentation, and professionalism.
* Ensure both you and your team maintain high presentation standards, with full uniform, ID badge, and PPE worn correctly at all times.
* Ensure correct cleaning materials, equipment, and methods are used, and report any faults immediately to the Supervisor or Zonal Manager.
* Report all accidents, incidents, or near misses promptly to the Supervisor and TSS Management Team.
* Remain vigilant and escalate any security concerns to the Supervisor or AELTC Security Team.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with current Health and Safety legislation.
* Attend Team Leader and Supervisor training, as well as any additional training required by the TSS Training & Recruitment Department.
* Comply with TSS Policies and Procedures, which will be fully explained during training days.
* Report to the Supervisor and Zonal Manager at the end of each shift.
* Answer and respond to radio calls as required.
* Ensure TSS devices (phones and radios) are well maintained and signed in/out correctly at the end of each shift.
