Tasks and Qualifications:
Working for a globally recognised customer, the role demands the dedication and professionalism Dematic Customer Services is synonymous for in the industry. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out first line response to faults, blockages, and issues on or around automated material handling equipment.
* Carrying out tasks under limited supervision within approved guidelines and following Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
* Receiving and completing work orders within planned or reactive work assignments.
* Resolving faults, blockages, and issues within agreed timescales to ensure service delivery.
* Complying with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Assisting the Maintenance Technician with daily maintenance tasks and helping resolve breakdowns.
* Representing the company professionally and maintaining customer relations.
* Being proactive to improve system efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
* Having a basic understanding of mechanical/electrical machinery is desirable.
* Having experience working in a warehouse or automated environment.
* Possessing fair/good IT skills.
* Demonstrating good communication, numeracy, and written skills, along with a strong customer focus.
* Maintaining a strong Health & Safety mindset.
* Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing team.
* Contributing ideas to improve site and team performance.
