Overview
The Commercial Excellence Manager will lead and inspire the Commercial Excellence team, driving transformation and continuous improvement across all areas within Commercial. This role is critical in delivering value,high standards, and exceptional performance. Byleveragingdatadriveninsights, building strong stakeholder relationships, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, the Commercial Excellence Manager ensures commercialprocessesare executed effectively, aligned with business goals, and fully compliant with corporate policies and governance standards.This includesidentifyinginefficiencies, implementing best practices, andleveragingdata-driven insights to streamline workflows, enhance operational effectiveness, and maximise return on investment.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Commercial Excellence team.
* Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, andcross departmentalcollaboration with a strong focus on delivering value-add solutions, exceptional service quality, and measurable performance outcomes.
* Deliver targeted coaching and training to develop team capability, ensuringteammembers become highly skilled and recognised subject matter experts inallprocesses, compliance, and reporting.
* Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
* Produceaccurate,timely, and insightful reports for senior leadership, coveringmonthlyperformance,POSreconciliationandpromotional stock.
* Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal reporting standards and governance requirements.

* Oversee the end-to-end process for promotional stock managementacross the group, ensuringfull transparencyof process, monitoring of allocations andmonthly reconciliation.
* EnsureaccurateandtimelyPOS processingthrough the Commercial Excellence teammaintainingcompliance with business policies andPOSguidelinesand salesteams’allocations.
* Continually reviewall team processes to assess efficiency, compliance, and alignment with businessobjectives.
* Identifygapsandrisks, ensuring processes are fit for purpose and scalable.
* Ensure all optimised processes are documented, communicated,fullyunderstoodand embedded across the team.
* Validate that all team processes adhere tobusinesspolicies, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks.
* Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
* Drive initiatives that embed a culture of continuous improvement across the team.
* Accountable for theend-to-endprocessofmanagement ofall commercial assetsacrossBermarandStaycold,from order management to installationensuringthe teamremainsthe conduit between the account manager and the supplier.
* Ensure full complianceandthat all relevant approvals are obtained and all due diligence is carried outprior to order confirmation to the supplier.
* Ensuretimelyinputs of forecast are received from the Sales Directors,monitoring and collatingthe forecast for commercial assets andsharing these with the supplier.
* Maintainaccuratedata, produce status reports, andidentifyopportunities to improve processes and supplier performance.
* Maintain asset records,monitorperformance,&conduct post-installation reviews to ensure customersatisfaction.
* Ensure all commercial processes adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
* Act as the gatekeeper for compliance checksto ensure audit trails andfull disclosure andtransparency.
* Identifyand mitigate commercial risks related toways of workingand operational execution.
* Maintain a risk register and implement controls to prevent financial or reputational exposure.
* Ensureaccurateand complete documentation for all commercial transactions.
* Provide regular governance reports to senior leadership and recommend corrective actions
* Review governance processes for efficiency and effectivenessandimplement best practices and update policies to reflect evolving business needs.
* Train teams onall businesscompliance requirementsand the importance ofalways being compliantandmonitoradherence.
