Window Cleaner & General Grounds Maintenance Operative – Flexi hours averaging on 42.5 to 45 hours per week March to Oct and 37.5hrs to 40hrs Nov to Feb; min 2 year experience in grounds maintenance or window cleaning ESSENTIAL. You must also have been driving for a minimum of 3 years.
Permanent PAYE Position, working anytime between 6am & 6pm, Monday to Friday plus the occasional Saturday as overtime will be required.
Starting Salary - £30,000 incl. bonus & workplace pension contributions, increasing to £31,500 once you have successfully completed your 6-month probationary period. Enhanced DBS check will be required for this job which we will apply for prior to your starting date.

We are a successful general property maintenance company with 14 + members of staff who is looking to increase our team to assist in all areas of our business which include:
* Window cleaning (traditional dolly & blade and water fed pole system) & Gutter Cleaning/repairs
* Grounds maintenance (grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, weed/moss control, sports line marking)
* All areas of Property maintenance for schools, residential homes, letting agents/landlords
* Caretaking & general maintenance cover at various schools around Essex
* Specialist cleaning such as exterior panel, soffit & facia cleaning, carpet cleaning, jet washing
Previous experience in any areas listed above would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. However on this occasion experience in grounds maintenance and/or window cleaning are essential to this job
You may be required to work 1 x Saturday per month as overtime. Other overtime is also available.
Please Note: Our workload increases dramatically during the school holidays so no/minimal holiday can be taken during this time, except by special arrangement and at Christmas when our company has a 'shutdown'.
Duties incl:
* Driving our vans
* Towing our trailers with various equipment on it
* Using all types of industrial gardening equipment
* Using a large sit on mower
* Line marking sports lines i.e. football pitches, running tracks
* Using all types of window cleaning equipment
* Have excellent time management and be able to use their own initiative.
* Ensure all work on the daily/weekly job sheet has been completed to high standard – attention to detail a must
* Must be physically fit and have positive/ 'can do' attitude
Additional duties may include (if you have the skill set)
· Gutter cleans
· Gutter repairs
· Paving works
· Landscaping
· General repairs and DIY at various sites
· Remove/replace fences
· Basic low level roof repairs
