Operating across five divisions, the UK business is structured to support continued expansion. This is a forward-thinking organisation that values leadership, innovation, and collaboration. The Role


You will be responsible for driving strategic growth across the UK branch network, leading a team of over 90 individuals through eight direct reports. The role is pivotal in shaping and executing divisional strategy, enhancing customer experience, and transitioning the business toward more sustainable product offerings.


Along with shaping go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation models, and sales engagement frameworks, your focus will be on transitioning the sales team from traditional sales to a solutions-led approach, focusing on innovative technologies.



Your Experience


The ideal candidate will be a strategic and commercially astute leader with a strong background in sales and operations within the building products sector. You will possess:


* Proven experience leading large, multi-site sales teams, within a manufacturing environment.
* A track record of delivering strategic growth, transformation, and cultural change across complex organisations.
* Strong technical understanding of building technologies or engineered systems, with the ability to translate customer needs into commercial strategy. Example product knowledge, with experience of leading sales strategies across either electrical distribution / switchgear, building automation / control systems, HVAC, water management, or lighting.
* Exposure to building lasting relationships with M&E Contractors and Installers.
* Commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
* A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
