Job Profile As our newly appointed Legal Counsel you will play a central role within the team, supporting Clinigen at a global level to assist with driving the business strategy through high quality and timely legal support. The majority of the global Legal team, including the Group’s General Counsel & Company Secretary, are based in the Weybridge office. This is a hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work three days per week from our Weybridge or Burton office and two days remotely. As Legal Counsel, you’ll enjoy a broad and varied workload, primarily focused on supporting Clinigen’s global operations. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is confident engaging with clients and can manage contracts and other legal projects independently when needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, timely and commercially focused legal support aligned with business objectives, departmental goals and personal development plans. Uphold the highest standards of integrity, acting in accordance with the Company Handbook, Clinigen’s values and culture and the Legal Team’s “best-in-class” service approach. Provide support in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and legal best practices across all jurisdictions in which Clinigen operates. Proactively engage with internal business units to draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements with both suppliers and customers across Clinigen’s global operations. Take the lead on commercial contracting matters within one or more of Clinigen’s Business Units, managing negotiations from start to finish with minimal supervision. Handle a diverse range of legal matters, including: Commercial contracts Data protection and privacy issues Dispute resolution Intellectual property matters Operate with autonomy and confidence, managing contract negotiations independently and driving them through to successful completion. Bring a pragmatic, solutions focused approach to legal challenges, with the experience and judgment to handle complex matters independently.
