Lecturer in Information Technology (Full Time)

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Information Technology to join a dynamic team, in a college in Kensington. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 IT programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for BTEC Level 2 and 3 IT courses

Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback on student work
*
Contribute to curriculum development and course planning
*
Support students’ academic progress and personal development
*
Maintain accurate records in line with college policies
*
Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance processes
About You:

A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, DET, or equivalent) is highly desirable
*
Previous experience teaching IT—particularly within a BTEC or similar vocational framework—is strongly preferred
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
A commitment to delivering inclusive and engaging learning
