Salary (Actual Salary): £28,598 to £29,540
Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Full Time
Do you excel at administrative support within the Human Resources function? Join us as an HR Assistant, a key role focused on supporting the Business Manager with all aspects of HR administration. Your responsibilities will center on recruitment, payroll processing, and effective attendance management, ensuring strict adherence to Safer Recruitment practices.

Responsibilities
The HR Assistant supports the Business Manager with all aspects of HR administration, including payroll, recruitment, and attendance management.
* Administering the recruitment process, ensuring Safer Recruitment practices are adhered to and completing all pre-employment checks.
* Processing new appointments, managing the academy payroll function (including basic pension administration), and maintaining accurate staff attendance records.
* Arranging Occupational Health referrals, providing confidential administrative support at meetings, processing DBS checks, and maintaining the crucial Single Central Record (SCR).
Qualifications
This role requires relevant experience working within HR/Payroll and experience working in an office environment. Applicants must possess the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences (verbally and in writing) and the critical ability to respect and maintain confidentiality. The ability to use standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, is essential. Experience of working in a school environment or with school information management systems is desirable.
