Rare Content is a creative content agency producing cinematic, high-impact films and social-first campaigns for global brands. We blend storytelling, craft and emerging technologies to create work that cuts through — from brand films and commercials to fast-paced social and ongoing content series.
We’re looking for a talented senior Producer / Director to join the team and play a key role in shaping and delivering our productions.
The Role
This is a hands-on, hybrid role for someone equally comfortable producing and directing. You’ll lead projects from concept through to delivery — working closely with clients, crew and our internal team to create standout content.
You’ll bring a strong creative eye and sense of storytelling, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to take ownership of shoots and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Project Management
* Plan, budget and manage productions from pre to post
* Organise shoots (crew, locations, kit, schedules, logistics)
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
* Oversee post-production workflows with editors and creatives
Directing & Creative
* Direct shoots across brand, commercial and social content
* Contribute to creative concepts, treatments and pitch work
* Shape storytelling, performance and visual approach on set
* Maintain a strong sense of tone, style and narrative
Client Management
* Lead calls and manage expectations
* Present ideas, updates and final work confidently
On-Set Leadership
* Run efficient, well-organised shoots
* Lead crew and talent with clarity and energy
* Problem-solve quickly in fast-paced environments
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a Producer / Director or similar role
* Background in branded content, promo or commercials
* Strong understanding of production workflows end-to-end
* Confident leading shoots and managing crews
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A strong creative instinct and eye for storytelling
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Positive, proactive attitude — someone who elevates the team
Nice to Have
* Experience working with global brands or agencies
* Knowledge of social-first content and platform formats
* Understanding of emerging production tools (AI, virtual production, etc.)
* Editing experience or familiarity with post workflows
* Camera experience
