One-to-One Tutor – Peterborough Area Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours Working Hours: School hours (Monday to Friday) Pay: Competitive hourly rate About the Role We are seeking experienced and dedicated One-to-One Tutors to provide tailored educational support to pupils in the Peterborough area. Tuition sessions will take place either in the pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours. This rewarding role involves supporting learners who may require additional academic assistance, helping them build confidence and achieve their educational goals. Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school, college, tutoring, or educational setting. Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum. Experience delivering personalised learning and adapting lessons to meet individual needs. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK. Ability to travel to pupils' homes and school settings within the Peterborough area. Desirable Qualifications Experience working with SEND, SEMH, EAL, or learners who require additional support. Experience delivering one-to-one tuition. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to each learner's needs. Support pupils in achieving academic and personal learning objectives. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of tuition sessions. Liaise professionally with schools, parents/carers, and the tuition provider.
