Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. The Concierge will also play a vital role in maintaining security and safety through surveillance and loss prevention measures.
Responsibilities
1. Access Control
2. Monitor and control entry and exit of residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
3. Issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs.
4. Ensure only authorized individuals access secured areas.
5. Surveillance & Security Monitoring
6. Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels.
7. Conduct regular patrols of the premises (lobby, hallways, parking lots, etc.).
8. Report any suspicious activity or security incidents.
9. Front Desk & Concierge Duties
10. Greet residents, guests, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
11. Assist with directions, building amenities, and general inquiries.
12. Accept and distribute mail and deliveries.
13. Emergency Response
14. Act as the first point of contact in emergencies (fire, medical, break-ins).
15. Follow building emergency protocols and contact relevant authorities as needed.
16. Keep calm under pressure and assist with evacuations or lockdowns if required.
17. Building Operations Support
18. Maintain a clean and professional front desk area.
19. Write daily reports/logs of incidents or unusual activity.
20. Coordinate with property management and contractors for maintenance work.
21. Customer Service
22. Provide residents or tenants with a sense of safety and personalized service.
23. Handle complaints diplomatically and report them to building management.
24. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Skills
* Experience with CCTV systems for monitoring premises effectively.
* Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond promptly in emergencies.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
* SIA licence
* Previous experience in a concierge or customer service role is preferred.
* Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is essential.
* Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices is advantageous.
* Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to engage with diverse clientele.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
