Theatre Practitioner OPERATING DEPARTMENT PRACTITIONER – SCRUB (RGN / ODP) – Chichester Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
* Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
* Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
* Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training
Requirements
You are registered with the appropriate governing body and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration (NMC or HCPC). Post-registration Scrub experience in a Theatre environment and a collaborative, patient-focused approach are essential.

About Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30-bed facility within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite parking. It features two laminar flow operating theatres, two outpatient treatment rooms, a small radiology department and mobile CT/MRI services. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided in-house, with outpatients attending the fitness and wellbeing centre for follow-up physio and hydrotherapy.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics, with care also provided in gynaecology, urology, general and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, maxillofacial and pain, plus outpatient services in dermatology, cardiology, neurology and rheumatology.
