The role will be based mainly outdoors and will involve at times some lifting and handling. You will be directly involved in maintaining high presentation standards by cleaning and clearing visitor areas. You will assist other onsite teams when needed, this will include; opening and closing the manor house, room guiding when volunteers are short, leading group walks and other assigned visitor tours, welcome visitors at the car park reception, providing information for their visit, sharing knowledge about the site and the National Trust, talk about membership, and selling it, serve and sell refreshments in the tea room, support with the setup of visitor trails, sorting books for the book barn, support the garden team with watering.
