Overview
Mobile Engineer (Electrical Bias) – covering South East of England. Full time, permanent role with a standard week of 40 hours. Monday to Friday with occasional on-call and weekend work; overtime may be available. Salary up to £55,000 per annum. Company van and tools provided. What you’ll do
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and minor works to electrical, mechanical, and fabric assets.
* Complete fault finding, repairs, and installations to meet service level agreements.
* Respond to emergency callouts as part of the on-call rota.
* Supervise and monitor contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including risk assessments, work records, and permits to work.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and timely completion of works.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
What we’re looking for
* City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ equivalent in Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* Full UK Driving Licence
* IT literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
* Proven experience in building services maintenance across commercial or office environments
* Strong electrical knowledge with fault finding, maintenance, and repairs
* Good understanding of mechanical and fabric systems
* Experience working under strict health and safety standards
* A proactive approach with strong organisational and communication skills
