We're looking for a Floor Manager to join our restaurant team at Seabird, The Hoxton, Southwark.
The Hoxton, Southwark, is the third location in our hometown of London. This borough is known for its colourful history, including the famous London pub The Prince Albert, which once hosted betting on sports from its barstool. We have 192 bedrooms, 2 restaurants—Albie & Seabird—and our first Working From_ location not just in London but across Europe!
What you'll do...
* Ensure the restaurant/bar area complies with H&S standards for each shift
* Lead the daily briefing for the restaurant/bar team
* Coordinate and manage the reservations system
* Draft floor plans based on covers
* Support the Restaurant AGM and GM with food & beverage stock management, ordering, and stock counts
* Assist in training staff on wine, food, and beverage menus
* Handle cash and report revenues daily as per hotel SOPs
* Manage labour scheduling
* Oversee service on the floor and bar
* Ensure the safe opening and closing of the restaurant
* Collaborate with the culinary team on menus, service, and product availability
