Sourcing Manager - Community, Mental Health & Professional Services

Job Summary
As a strategic procurement professional, you will support the delivery of high‑value sourcing solutions across community and mental health services. Working closely with the Head of Sourcing, you will develop and implement Sourcing Plans, ensure compliance with governance, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Head of Sourcing to deliver value‑added sourcing activities across all projects.
* Develop and deliver individual Sourcing Plans, focusing on customer service, value for money, and compliance with NWL PS governance.
* Support delivery board approval for project gateways, including producing the Procurement Outcome Report.
* Facilitate handover of sourcing projects to the Manage & Enable function, communicating all relevant details.
* Work towards achieving Service Level Agreement KPIs and internal performance metrics.
* Provide expertise on sourcing approaches and advise on strategy best fit for each project.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring transparent communication on all sourcing issues.
Qualifications
* Education/Qualification – degree in business, operations or related field plus postgraduate diploma or equivalent in management.
* Professional Experience – Good level of sourcing activity in a relevant field; significant stakeholder management in customer‑focused environment; successful negotiation of purchasing agreements; performance management across multiple sites; experience providing complex information.
* Skills & Knowledge – Skilled negotiator; strong analytical ability; effective stakeholder management; ability to influence and train others.
* Desirable – MCIPS qualification or working towards it; experience in non‑clinical categories; knowledge of change management and process improvement.
* Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to values of Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion and Empowerment.
Employment Details
Band: 7 | Salary: £58,133 – £65,261 per annum (inclusive of HCAS) | Contract: Permanent | Working pattern: Full‑time | Location: Ground Floor, 15 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5JD, United Kingdom
