Job Opportunity: Director in Audit
Join our Audit practice, where we support and encourage those returning from career breaks to re-enter a dynamic and flexible auditing role.
In 2022, Grant Thornton made significant progress in our audit business, emphasizing quality and inclusion. Our five-year audit strategy focuses on quality, growth within our mid-market client base, attracting the right talent for senior roles, and working with clients who share our values.
We are looking to strengthen our RI (Registered Inspector) team in the Gatwick and Thames Valley regions through internal promotions and ongoing development. This role is ideal for an existing Director seeking a leadership position centered on people development, high-quality work, and expanding our client base.
As an RI, you will focus on strategic team growth, business development, and ensuring all work is profitable, efficient, and of the highest quality.
The ideal candidate will be a Director currently operating within the larger mid-market audit space, possessing an inclusive mindset. You will hold an accountancy qualification and have a high audit quality rating. A passion for working in a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive environment is essential.
Work-Life Balance
We believe there’s more to life than work. If you’re interested in flexible working arrangements, let us know. We are committed to supporting work-life balance for all roles.
Note on Recruitment
Grant Thornton operates a direct resourcing model and collaborates with preferred suppliers. We do not accept speculative CVs from agencies without a contractual agreement for RI hires and will not pay agency fees for such submissions.
