In alignment with the global company strategy and in conjunction with the Global Procurement organization, the Global Procurement, Associate Sourcing Manager will support the development and implementation of client-specific sourcing strategies, ensuring contractual commitments are met. The role focuses on procurement KPIs, service deliverables, achieving savings, and maintaining client satisfaction, growth, and retention.
The position plays a strategic role in managing and reporting on strategic sourcing initiatives, client KPIs, and contractual commitments such as savings guarantees. A key responsibility is managing pre-sourcing of repeat items via the ERFQ process to drive cost reduction and meet strategic sourcing goals. The role also involves developing reports and preparing proposals for client approval.
What you will be doing:
* Adhere to all site safety and security procedures and attend safety training.
* Conduct tendering activities via the e-RFQ platform.
* Create and send client proposal documents for cost reduction initiatives, and log statuses in client-specific reports.
* Manage procurement requests through the e-platform and report project status to the General Manager.
* Support sourcing strategy development by collating data such as spend profiles and savings performance.
* Assist in preparing procurement reports for meetings and renewals.
* Liaise with the Buying department on price escalations and queries.
* Coordinate with category and supplier teams on client projects, including site visits.
What do I need to be successful?
If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:
* At least three years of university education in Economics, Business, Science, Logistics, or related fields; a master's degree is preferred.
* Minimum three years of experience in sourcing MRO materials or relevant categories.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn MS Project.
* Technical background in Maintenance, Repair, and Operating Materials is advantageous, with knowledge of MRP, JIT, and related systems.
* Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
* Knowledge of quality assurance practices.
* Strong project management, negotiation, planning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to understand vendor and client contracts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a global, cross-functional team.
* Strategic thinking and influencing skills.
* Financial acumen.
* Fluent in English; additional languages may be required based on business needs.
