SEN Teacher – Kingsbury Road, Erdington Supply Bank Education is working closely with a specialist school in Erdington, seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a growing educational setting supporting pupils with SEMH, autism, and associated needs. The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised teaching across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve meaningful progress. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider school team, you will contribute to curriculum development and help create a positive learning environment focused on wellbeing, independence, and achievement. This role is ideal for educators who are creative, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education. Job Details • Location: Kingsbury Road, Erdington • Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only • Salary: dependent on experience • Start Date: ASAP • UK applicants only – no sponsorship available What You’ll Be Doing • Delivering high-quality teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects • Adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and EHCP requirements • Supporting pupils’ personal development, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress • Working collaboratively with the Headteacher and wider team to support curriculum development • Teaching beyond your subject specialism where required • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment • Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including additional responsibilities and school improvement initiatives About the School The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and associated learning needs. The setting provides a nurturing and supportive environment that prioritises wellbeing, confidence-building, and personal growth alongside academic achievement.
