Job description
Working as a Senior Support Worker, you will be playing a crucial role in supervising and supporting a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to service users. You will be contributing to the development and implementation of care plans, promoting a positive and empowering environment, and leading by example to inspire your team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:
* Provide guidance, supervision and leadership to a team of Support Workers.
* Ensuring that care plans are implemented effectively and that the care provided meets the highest standards.
* Conducting assessments of service users' needs and regularly reviewing their progress.
* Building strong, positive relationships with service users, promoting their independence and involvement in decision-making.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
Requirements:
* Proven experience of working a as a Support Worker.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships.
