About the Role

As a
Graduate Electrical Research Engineer
, you'll join our dynamic R&D team and contribute to cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of energy technology. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with senior engineers, and make meaningful contributions to a more sustainable future.

What You'll Do

Research & Experimentation

* Assist in developing and testing new electrical cable concepts.
* Design experimental setups to explore novel solutions.
* Collect, analyse, and interpret data from experiments, simulations, and field tests.

Documentation & Reporting

* Create, review, and update technical documents.
* Prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Document research methodologies, experimental procedures, and results.

Collaboration & Support

* Support the prototyping and initial production of electrical products.
* Communicate technical details with manufacturing partners, testing agencies, regulators, and customers.
* Work alongside senior engineers and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects.

What We're Looking For

Essential

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
* Strong understanding of core electrical engineering principles.
* Ability to solve problems creatively and think independently.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
* Hands-on experience with testing equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply units, etc).
* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Desirable

* Exposure to simulation tools such as COMSOL, MATLAB, DiGSILENT, or OrCAD LTSpice.
* Willingness to develop hands-on prototyping skills.
* Interest in renewable energy, power systems, or clean-tech innovation.
* Basic mechanical aptitude.
