A nurturing primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking an experienced SEMH Provision Teacher to develop and deliver the school’s SEMH offer from January 2026. The SEMH Provision Teacher will lead small-group therapeutic interventions, coach staff in behaviour and regulation strategies, and work with families and external agencies to support pupils’ wellbeing. In Stratford-upon-Avon, the SEMH Provision Teacher will play a vital role in ensuring pupils are ready to learn and in supporting staff to implement consistent approaches. Responsibilities Design and deliver SEMH interventions that build regulation, communication and social skills. Work with class teams to ensure therapeutic strategies are embedded in daily practice as SEMH Provision Teacher. Liaise with parents, mental-health services and the SENCo to coordinate multi-agency support across Stratford-upon-Avon. Monitor impact, keep accurate records and report outcomes to senior leaders. Provide training and coaching to staff on de-escalation, restorative practice and wellbeing strategies. Person specification Qualified teacher with experience working in SEMH provision or with pupils with social, emotional and mental-health needs. Skilled in intervention design, behaviour support and multi-agency coordination as an SEMH Provision Teacher. Empathetic, resilient and able to work sensitively with pupils and families in Stratford-upon-Avon. Able to commence January 2026 and to attend induction and pre-start planning before January 2026.
