As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced solicitors, supporting them through every stage of residential and commercial property transactions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a busy, varied workload and takes pride in delivering excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities
*
Provide day-to-day support to solicitors across all aspects of residential conveyancing
*
Prepare and manage documentation including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
*
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, and other third parties
*
Carry out searches and assist with reviewing title documentation
*
Draft and send correspondence and legal forms in line with firm procedures
*
Coordinate completions and handle all post-completion tasks, including Land Registry applications
*
Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files (both digital and paper-based)
*
Assist with billing, disbursements, and administrative duties
*
Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal firm policies
About You
*
Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary role (essential)
*
Knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
*
Excellent communication and client service skills
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Able to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively
*
Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
*
A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to support your team
Working Hours & Benefits

Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
