Location and Working Conditions
Location: Exeter / Ipswich / Wymondham / Speke / Salford - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available, just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Responsibilities
As a Drainage and Water Assistant Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Drainage Team, tackling a variety of well-defined drainage and water design tasks. Your contributions will ensure projects progress efficiently and to a high standard. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Calculations: Produce routine engineering calculations for drainage and water tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Drawings: Prepare and update design drawings and schematics to support project outputs.
* Reports & Documentation: Contribute to reports, specifications, schedules, and compliance documentation.
* Models: Assist in developing and reviewing hydraulic, hydrological, or CAD models.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Experience in producing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and models in drainage and water design, along with an understanding of relevant design standards and quality assurance processes.
* The ability to undertake site visits, surveys, and desk-based research to inform design outputs, with a strong attention to detail.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams, along with a full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
