Position: Sales System Administrator

Location: Hoddesdon

About the Role

Pharmaron is looking to recruit a Sales System Administrator to play a critical role in supporting revenue generation by ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining CRM integrity, and enabling the sales team to operate efficiently. This role serves as the operational backbone of the sales function, managing Salesforce data, supporting client communications, and delivering reporting insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process and manage incoming customer orders using Salesforce CRM.
2. Review and validate order details against approved quotations to ensure pricing and data accuracy.
3. Contact clients to obtain missing documentation or clarify order discrepancies.
4. Maintain and update customer records, quotations, contracts, and opportunity data within Salesforce.
5. Monitor and follow up on open quotations and pending orders to support timely revenue conversion.
6. Generate biweekly and monthly sales performance reports for leadership and sales representatives.
7. Support onboarding and training of new Salesforce users within the sales team.
8. Perform basic Salesforce configuration updates, including field edits, workflow adjustments, and report modifications.
9. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure smooth order fulfilment and invoicing.
10. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and data accuracy within the sales cycle.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

11. 2–4 years of experience in sales administration, sales operations, or customer support.
12. Experience generating sales reports and analysing sales data within a CRM system.
13. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis. Add WORD strong as well.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Desirable:

16. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
17. Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM required.
18. Proficiency in Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, data entry, workflow understanding).
