DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Senior Application Analyst to join our team specialising in Systems / Information Technology for Cummins in Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom.
The role is fully on-site, 5 days/week at Darlington.
In this role, you will:
* Provide comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for application software solutions.
* Collaborate with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.
* Lead smaller business impact and IT improvement projects, taking full accountability for project outcomes.
* Monitor and communicate project status regularly to ensure transparency.
* Drive process improvements by leveraging continuous improvement tools and developing new standards and work methods.
* Develop and improve work processes and systems within your discipline.
* Support the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of manufacturing IT systems and processes.
* Investigate and resolve application and systems problems, ensuring innovation in functional delivery processes.
* Review the work of less-experienced team members, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
* Manage functional specifications for projects to ensure correct application and configuration.
* Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for assigned applications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
* University or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or relevant experience.
* Proven experience with manufacturing companies and managing complex applications.
* Experience with IT systems including ERP, Dassault MES, cloud tech, IoT, Power BI, PowerApps, and AI tools.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
* Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies like IIoT, robotics, computer vision, and analytics.
