We are recruiting for an Education Clinician to join our Education Services in Taunton and Redhill, Somerset, on a 12 month Maternity Cover In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to children in our care who are looked after in our Education service. Your primary task will be supporting the children in our schools. As an Education Clinician, you’ll play a vital role in shaping brighter futures. You’ll provide direct clinical support to children in our schools, working within our innovative Attachment & Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) model. What You’ll Do • Deliver therapeutic support to children who have experienced trauma and maltreatment. • Lead on clinical delivery within our ATIC framework. • Provide consultancy and training to education staff, empowering them to support children effectively. • Develop assessments and therapeutic support plans tailored to individual needs. • Work closely with families and statutory services to ensure holistic care. Role requirements: • Clinical psychologists or counselling psychologists must be HCPC-registered (pending registration considered if you have a doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology) • Child psychotherapists must be UKCP registered and accredited • Essential: must have experience relating to working with children and young people who have experienced trauma and maltreatment • Essential: must have experience working with families and professional statutory systems around looked-after children (eg local authorities, CAMHS) • Desirable: experience completing clinical assessments and delivering training programmes we are also interested in applications from HCPC registered Art Therapists Hours This role follows the local authority term time and will be 30 hours per week covering Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 5:00 This is a Maternity Cover for 12 months You will receive: • Company pension scheme • Enhanced DBS check and update service • SimplyHealth employee healthcare cashback scheme • Employee referral scheme • Employee assistance programme • Ongoing personal development and support • Long Service Awards • Blue Light Card Do not delay your application.
