Serious Injury Team – Southampton
PQE: Ideally 4+ years (Grade B) or 8+ years (Grade A)
Minimum: 2 PQE considered
Location: Southampton (ideally 3 days per week in the office, flexibility for the right candidate)
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
The Opportunity
Our leading legal services client is seeking a talented Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their specialist Serious Injury Team in Southampton. Consideration will be given to candidates at the Associate or Senior Associate level, depending on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading serious injury teams, working on complex, high-value, and life-changing cases. You will either lead or support on catastrophic injury matters, with a particular emphasis on traumatic brain injury (TBI) claims (adult and child), alongside complex orthopaedic injuries, amputations, fatalities, and inquests.
Experience handling TBI matters is particularly important for this role.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who:
* Has experience working within a personal injury team, ideally on catastrophic injury matters
* Has strong exposure to traumatic brain injury work (essential)
* Ideally has 4+ years’ experience (Grade B or above), though we will consider candidates with 2+ PQE who demonstrate strong relevant expertise
* Is calm under pressure and naturally proactive
* Can support and collaborate with colleagues across the team
* Demonstrates empathy and confidence when working with vulnerable clients and families
* Builds strong internal and external relationships
* Communicates clearly and thinks creatively to achieve the best possible
