Temporary Part Time Groom – 1 full day (8.30am-approx 5.30pm) and two afternoons a week. (with potential for more in future to cover holidays, sick etc). Exact hours/days to be discussed on enquiry. To start in September.

We are looking for a caring, hard-working, honest and reliable person to join our small friendly team temporarily for 1 full day (Thursdays) and two afternoons a week, with the potential to pick up more in the future. We have 23 horses and ponies, mostly elderly so experience is necessary. The job involves but not limited to general stable duties, grooming and odd jobs. The successful candidate will be DBS checked. You must hold a clean, current driving license and have the daily use of a car. We are a children's charity so you may be working with children at some point. You must be physically fit and willing to work outside in all weather.
Pay will be depending on age and experience. Hours are from 8.30am until finish, usually around 5.30/6pm but sometimes may be later. We cannot negotiate the hours. If you would like to know more, please send your CV. References will be required.
