Introduction Commonwealth Games Australia (CGA) leads Australia’s preparation and participation at the Commonwealth Games. As we look ahead to Glasgow 2026, our focus is on building a strong, united team that continues Australia’s proud history of success at the Games. In Birmingham 2022, Australia topped the medal tally with 67 gold, 57 silver and 56 bronze medals and we’re working to raise the bar again. Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Assist and report to the Safety & Integrity Functional Area Lead to proactively prevent and/or respond to incidents as they arise during Games-time Assist the Deputy Chef de Mission manage minor Integrity issues 'in the moment' to prevent more substantive Integrity issues arising Assist the Deputy Chef de Mission in the management of an Athlete Accommodation Zone, including minor operational requirements. Support the implementation of operational standards and processes that safeguard staff, volunteers, carers and athletes - including young participants. Support and promote integrity in sport as it relates to anti-doping, the improper use of drugs and medicine, safeguarding, irregular betting and match fixing and classification manipulation (para-sport). During preparation and at Games time adapt a mindset of proactive, collaborative and solution focus problem solving. Pre-emptive communication to CGA on any potential risks during planning or at Games time Contribute to the overall Team culture, show commitment to ensuring all Team Members have a positive experience and be an active role model of G2026 Team Behaviours. Any other duties as required by the Deputy Chef de Mission, Team Executive, Safety & Integrity Functional Area Lead or CGA CEO during the Games. Skills And Experiences SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS The specific requirements for this position include: Working at Sports Integrity Australia in a non-ongoing and/or ongoing capacity. Worked in a similar role or an operational delivery role at either a Commonwealth Games, World Championships, Olympics, Paralympics or in another comparable environment is desirable. Strong understanding of anti-doping and integrity requirements and responsibilities in sport. Experience in responding to incidents in a Games or comparable sporting environment. Able to travel to the UK and obtain a necessary Visa. Passport would need to be valid to at least February 2027. Working with Children Check (or equivalent). PERSON SPECIFICATION Proven ability to keep detailed and accurate records and maintain confidentiality. Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a variety of different teams and people to achieve a successful outcome. Demonstrated personal qualities of integrity, initiative, drive, adaptability and able to work with a diverse range of people and cultures. Have a 'can do' attitude and show a willingness to 'pitch in' to support the Team. Completed mandatory SIA e-learning integrity modules.
