You will be responsible for the preparation of materials for Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level classes. Responsibilities
* Assemble and trial complex apparatus for GCSE and A-Level practicals, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
* Manage the prep room effectively, ensuring all chemicals and equipment are stored according to rigorous safety guidelines.
* Support the Head of Science with annual safety audits, census reporting, and the procurement of new laboratory resources.
* Maintain the school’s technical equipment inventory and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory glassware.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting.
* Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
Salary £26,000 – £30,500 per annum.
