Key Account Manager
Location: Midlands & The South
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + commission
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be recruiting for a leading supplier of workplace supplies and services. The role of Key Account Manager offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business and lead new business development and existing account growth within the public sector.
Since this role is within the public sector, knowledge and experience with this customer base are essential. Covering The Midlands and South, this position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a field-based role.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Manage key accounts effectively to increase sales and margins, meeting and exceeding targets, and maximizing potential.
* Collaborate with strategic decision-makers to optimize selling opportunities, promoting and cross-selling all products and services.
* Create, maintain, and share Account Development Plans for strategic clients to identify, target, and convert sales opportunities in key categories.
* Develop tender and pricing proposals, contract bids, and documentation for new and existing business in partnership with the Commercial team.
* Research, prepare, and deliver customer presentations leveraging your expertise.
* Maintain excellent customer relationships and coordinate with internal departments to effectively manage contracts, ensuring customer value is delivered.
Skills & Requirements:
* Experience in Key Account management with a proven track record of growing new business opportunities.
* An ambitious, driven salesperson who thrives on exceeding targets.
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with experience dealing with key stakeholders within a public sector environment.
