Due to recent internal change and ongoing investment in our employee engagement strategy, our communications team now forms part of our Group HR function and we are looking to recruit an experience communications leader who will report into the President, HR. This is a highly strategic role to own and implement an internal communications & engagement strategy which brings our purpose to life, builds emotional connection with our employer brand, creates a listening culture and ensures clear, consistent messaging across our business to drive engagement. Who We're Looking For Prior experience background leading a global internal communications and employee engagement function ideally within a publicly listed organisation operating in multiple regions and cultures. Effective influencer at senior levels with the ability to listen acutely, understand the business need, and engage at all levels of the organisation to deliver results. Good level of judgment to inform decisions, balancing the need to be assertive to maintain brand and approach whilst being able to adapt to meet the changing needs of the business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experienced in writing and editing for a variety of purposes demonstrating authenticity and adaptability in style. Highly creative and proactive with the ability to identify and act on opportunities autonomously. Passion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with a clear understanding of how to bring to this life through effective internal communications, engagement and content. High level of curiosity to develop novel, engaging, and innovative communication, listening and engagement strategies. Keeping up-to-date with communications technology, tools and trends which may add value to the business. Experienced in creating and delivering communication and engagement strategies as part of complex organisational change programmes. Key Responsibilities Work with senior leaders to create and implement an impactful internal communications & engagement strategy, achieved through multiple channels. Delivering strategic and impactful communications that engage and inform diverse audiences across Croda and drive employee engagement. Provide expert internal communications advice and support for senior leadership for a wide range of projects and campaigns. Plan and execute initiatives through a clear editorial calendar that foster a positive employee experience, build a strong company culture, celebrate achievements across the business. Promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion through communications and develop an industry leading employee engagement strategy within Croda. Monitor the effectiveness of internal communication and engagement strategies, gathering feedback, reporting and analytics to continually refine and improve approach. Act as a key member of the Group HR leadership, and the HR Leadership team to influence and shape our HR strategy, particularly in the areas of engagement, retention and organisational development. Drive employee engagement initiatives including our employee listening and engagement tool (YourVoice) and recognition programmes to understand and articulate the voice of Croda’s employees. Take accountability for all content and copywriting activities across internal platforms. Developing with HR & Line Managers communications and engagement strategies and execution plans to successfully deliver and embed organisational change programmes. Effectively lead, coach and develop the Internal Communications and Engagement team and provide proactive support to HR teams and Employee Resource Groups regarding communication activities and improvement opportunities. Additional Information This role could be offered on a remote/home office-based contract within the UK, however regular travel to our Head Offices in Yorkshire would be required. Why Croda?
