We are working closely with a family ran, Leyburn business looking to appoint a Bookkeeper to their busy teams.
Operating within the rural sector, this brilliant opportunity would be suited to someone with a rural/agricultural/equine background, although not at all a necessity.
You will be reporting in to the Directors and Accountants.
Responsibilities:
1. Purchase Ledger: Process all purchase ledger invoices. Reconcile to Purchase Orders and input onto Sage. Process monthly payment run. Process adhoc payments daily/monthly.
2. Sales Ledger: Process monthly invoices through Front Runner and transfer to Sage. Reconcile weekly to spreadsheets to ensure timely and accurate billing.
3. Credit Control: Chase any overdue payments as and when due.
4. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile the bank account and balance to Sage on a daily/weekly basis. Provide to the details to directors as requested.
5. Partnership Accounts: Reconcile the bank statement and racing transactions for each partnership on a monthly basis.
6. Stock Counts: Count stock as required on a monthly/ quarterly basis
Requirements/Experience:
You should have relevant bookkeeping experience and have a strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Office. Qualifications are not a necessity, as long as you are suitably qualified by experience.
