Main duties of the job
Provide services forpeople of all ages, across a range of settings, experiencing both physicaland/or mental health conditions across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.They are the main providers of mental health and learning disability services inboth counties, and also delivercommunity hospitals, neighbourhood teamsand community nursing services across Worcestershire.
The Trust workclosely with the above organisations on something called the Sustainability andTransformation Partnership. Essentially this is about local organisationscoming together to ensure local health and care services remain safe, effectiveand sustainable and that collectively we can meet our challenges. Thepartnership is also about delivering the priorities outlines in the NHS LongTerm Plan locally across Herefordshire and Worcestershire
At Herefordshire andWorcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust (HWHCT) our Research Team explores awide array of mental health conditions including depression, psychosis, andbipolar disorder. We also undertake research in other fields includingdementia, complex neurology, dietetics, and musculoskeletal conditions and wantto expand into all areas of health & care within HWHCT.

Job responsibilities
Use a range of evidence-based Physiotherapy clinicalskills and knowledge appropriate to the role
Have a good level of knowledge in a wide rangeof physical and mental health condition
Challenge poor behaviour and role model goodbehaviour
Identify and plan individual rehabilitationneeds in partnership with patients/ their carers
Make decisions autonomously, but liaise closelywith and work across the multidisciplinary integrated team
Maintain judgement and work effectively underpressure
Have effective negotiation skills whilstremaining sensitive to others needs

Essential
1. Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
2. HCPC Registration
