Stock and Systems Manager
Salary: £17.82 per hour - £(phone number removed) annual
Typical Working Hours: 6-2 or 3-7 day shift
Location: Bicester
As Stock and Systems Manager, you will lead and support the stock control and admin teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and clarity in all stock-related processes. You will play a critical role in reducing business risk through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and collaboration across departments, particularly with operations and goods-in. You’ll ensure our stock systems reflect physical counts and support the senior depot team in delivering key operational and strategic goals.
Oversee all stock count routines and ensure compliance with Fresh Direct policies
Lead the stock and admin teams to verify data accuracy, reduce shortages, and eliminate waste
Ensure timely and accurate stock allocations and reconciliation between system and physical counts
Provide detailed product and stock reports to Operations and Procurement using Excel
Analyse stock data to pre-empt shortages and support solutions with operational teams
Ensure the admin team follows procedures and charges customers accurately
Work closely with Goods In and the wider warehouse team to identify and resolve stock issues
Communicate key issues to shift managers and supervisors for prompt action
Support the development and training of team members, identifying areas for improvement
Record and maintain KPI data to keep the wider business informed of operational performance
Produce training and best-practice materials for internal development
Foster a collaborative, team-based working environment across departments
Proactively report any potential risks or opportunities to senior management
Stay updated and compliant with all Fresh Direct policies and procedures
Undertake other tasks and projects as directed by your line manager
