What You Will Do Collaborate and Communicate: Collaborate with & influence the Design and Manufacturing Teams to develop manufacturing solutions that meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Act as a liaison between manufacturing and design teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Provide vendor support for technical, manufacturing and design queries. Support New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead new programs/products through the NPI processes, including participating in Design Reviews, Drawing Reviews, DFMA, BOM verification, and Risk and Mitigation management. Collaborate with operations to plan and manage the development and implementation of new processes and material flow using lean principles. Drive Cost and Efficiency: Establish recurring and non-recurring costs. Identify and manage the implementation of tools and fixtures required for manufacturing. Collaborate with operations teams to innovate and enhance assembly and manufacturing processes with moderate supervision. Influence and challenge existing manufacturing and business processes to drive improvements. Ensure Safety and Solve Problems: Maintain a safe working environment. Initiate and lead problem-solving activities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Support Continuous Improvement and Change Management: Identify and lead in assessing feasibility and managing changes for both continuous improvements and mandatory requirements. Demonstrate the effectiveness of manufacturing process selection in terms of costs, quality, and cycle times under limited supervision. Support Operations: Work with operations to ensure we achieve output and quality targets. Perform additional duties as required to support business needs. Essential Criteria Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of four years' relevant engineering experience post-qualification. OR: A higher qualification such as HND/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline with at least five years' relevant engineering experience. Proven track record of leading projects or process Desirable Criteria Demonstrate a strong understanding of technologies and tools relevant to manufacturing or assembly processes. Problem solving skills - Show the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues Demonstrate ability to work autonomously. Experience of coaching, providing support and direction to engineers Demonstrate ability to foster collaboration, build trust, and influence others within & outside your work area. Internal Only Criteria Minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable professional role OR Currently working in an M3 role in Engineering or Quality OR Hold or working towards a Third Level Education in a relevant engineering or quality discipline Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a P2 role in Engineering or Quality What We Offer We are committed to providing an industry-leading benefits package.
