Accommodation Support: £100 weekly contribution (subject to completing 40 hours per week)
Overview We are seeking an experienced Boat Builder to join a leading marine manufacturer on a contract basis in Cowes. This role is ideal for someone with strong craftsmanship skills and a background in building high‑quality marine vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of boat building including fitting, joinery, and structural work
Work from technical drawings and specifications
Ensure work is completed to high-quality standards and within project timelines
Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain a safe and organised work environmentRequirements
Proven experience as a Boat Builder or Marine Technician
Strong skills in one or more areas: GRP/composites, fitting, joinery, or structural assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Reliability and ability to meet weekly hour targets
Own tools preferred but not essentialBenefits
