Overview
We are excited to offer 14.5 hours per week for the role of public health midwife within University Hospital Southampton (UHS). Working with our current public health midwife, we look for a motivated, forward‑thinking midwife with a passion for public health and improving outcomes for women, birthing people, babies, and families.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coordinate and embed key public health priorities across the maternity pathway.
* Drive improvement across maternity public health priorities, working proactively with colleagues and partners to effect meaningful and sustainable change.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary maternity teams and local and regional public health teams to translate national and local priorities into evidence‑based practice.
* Support prevention, early intervention and personalised care to deliver equitable and inclusive maternity services.
