Responsibilities
* Research and analyse high‑street trends to produce mood boards that identify key trends. Travel to UK stores and attend research trips for inspiration. Attend UK festivals and social events focusing on identifying the Footasylum customer.
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Create initial new designs to present to brand managers/buyers while keeping to the brand's 'signature' handwriting. Collaborate with the Senior & Graphic Designers to create clear, concise technical artworks and understand print techniques, trims, and embellishments.
* Maintain high standards for colour, typography and design. Work closely with Designers and the Buying team to ensure briefs are translated into commercially aware graphics. Demonstrate good communication skills when liaising with Product Developers and factories in Turkey/China/Pakistan to provide concise comments. Follow guidance from the Senior Graphic Designer.
* Build and maintain close links with the buying and design teams. Deliver results within tight deadlines and specified time frames. Provide ad‑hoc administrative support to the Graphic Design team as required.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years experience in the graphics industry.
* Motivated with strong time‑management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities.
* Strong graphics portfolio.
* A degree in a related design subject is desirable.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
