Our SE based client develop and manufacture a range of cosmetic and personal care products, they are currently recruiting for a Development Chemist to work on a variety of formulation projects, leading to product scale-up and manufacture.
This role will involve both hands on laboratory formulation practical work and project management
Additional Duties Will Include
* Managing a variety of formulation projects, delivering against objectives
* Liaising with key internal and external technical departments including Quality, Manufacturing, NPD, Regulatory
* Supporting product innovation, generating ideas for novel and future products
* Understanding current packaging designs, modifying / developing new designs as necessary
* Supervising / training another member of the technical team
Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc / MSc / PhD in Chemistry / Cosmetic Science together with previous suitable skills and experience gained in a similar environment.
This is a permanent role, offering an attractive salary, depending on skills and experience
