We're growing our Pay Services Team in Sheffield and looking for motivated individuals to help us deliver accurate, efficient, and reliable payroll services. This is your chance to make a real impact by supporting our workforce and ensuring data integrity across our pay operations.
About the role
* Input, maintain, and validate payroll data including salary, overtime, bonuses, Tax/NI, salary sacrifice, pensions, and leave.
* Provide high-quality support to internal teams and stakeholders by interpreting policies and ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
* Maintain service standards, troubleshoot issues, and elevate where appropriate.
* Contribute to process reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
* Take part in team meetings and development sessions, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
* Take ownership of your professional development and help shape the future of the team.
About you
* Solid experience in Payroll, PAYE, and statutory payments, with strong knowledge of payroll calculations and processing.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with experience handling large datasets and spotting trends or inconsistencies.
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence using data tools and systems.
* Clear, professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional internal service.
* A collaborative mindset and adaptable approach to evolving business needs.
